I was out practicing short game with a couple of my students one afternoon. They were all very new to the game. As we were all chipping when one of the gals starts to tell us a story about how she was running around her neighborhood when she stumbled along all of these golf balls on the road! She was very excited and I couldn’t stop her in the middle of her story because I could tell she really thought she hit the jackpot. She proceeds to tell us that she’s stuffing her workout pants with the golf balls so that she can play with them later. I was like awesome, however were the balls striped? She responds, how did you know that? I had to break it to her that range balls are typically striped and that she had found range balls that belonged to the course she couldn’t see from the road. Her face turned bright red and we all just started giggling.
